Biography

Gold Coast based Miz Bully band are keeping music LIVE and the BEAT real. They are lovers of the traditional rhythm section styled band, gaining accolades from punters and musicians alike .

Into their fourth year and completing their second C.D , they journey from Rock to Blues, soul ,funk and roots. The band has an extensive All Original songs repetoire and strives to maintain an evolutionary attitude t their work.

ON VOCALS. Miz Bully.Born in Melbourne this raunchy singer is described by other musicians as having a V8 of a voice. ( and yes wait until she warms up) The principal songwriter of the band Miz Bully has a powerful voice and believes in the reality of live performance
'I don't care if Im at a Festival ,a Club,or some tiny pub ,I always give 100%. I believe peoples souls shine through in their music and you can go on a great journey with them if they are truly into what they do.

ON GUITAR. Consumate guitarist David Tripp is a true exponant of the versatility of the Fender Strat. A player of some 25 years he has graced the stages with rock, country and blues bands all over Australia. An artist well known for his tasteful playing ,he has worked with major bands at the Gympie Muster,Woodforde Folk Festival,Ponde Rock,and anywhere else you care to mention.

ON BASS. The other half of the B Keepers engine is a talented bass player,always in the groove. Phil considers himself a Journeyman of styles in his long and varied career as a bass player and brings to the band his smooth sounds and his many influences.

ON DRUMS . Pete Mcfarlane and Hanuman Das. These two work on a rotating basis which allow them to pursue other projects as well as the Miz Bully Band.

Pete hails from the Sydney hey days (ex Finch, Kakadu , and too many more to mention).He is a drummers drummer, a consummate performer and an exciting, powerhouse beat master.
